This is mine: I lose a good 3 INCHES off mine and it gives me the waist I like to fit into my 1950's wiggle dresses.
Gals of all sizes and Shapes are learning to use and embrace their bodies.. Here is a nice little testimonial received today in fact...
Jo Says.. My Sister loves her Cinch & is wearing it instead of her baby belly band. It's just as firm but lighter & cooler!.
So why do I think they are the best?, Well, I have tried a few, well.. actually... A LOT... and was never really satisfied with the level of shape it said it would create. I found most stuff our there now is more Smoothing wear and not so much shape wear - Great for smoothing out the lines and texture but not hold it all in and lets face it ladies, there is something to be said about feeling suitable tucked in! Again, I reiterate, it doesn't matter if your are size 8 or 18, its about using what you have a creating a shape with it ie: Get ourselves a waist! 🙂
Here's what's in them:
Shapette Powernet fabric made of 80% nylon, 20% Invista® Lycra® is constructed with two way stretch.
Features:
Exclusive power circle inner contour bands for shaping waist, hips, back and derrière.
Flat sewn seams and panelling all around for garment comfort.
High waisted.
One way stretch satin panel for added comfort and support.
12" front hook and eye opening.
Here's how to check which size is right for you:
Tip yourself over like a teapot.. Put you finger in the middle crease and that's how you find your true waist;
Measure (IN INCHES) what that waist is;
Order the size 2-6 inches under e.g. (??? What? you say... here's how to check):1st: Are you solid or squishy in the middle (Sounds terrible I know but we have to ask it how it is). If you have a solid frame, rectangle shape with broad ribcage then you will only need to go down 2 inches. If you are usually hourglass and have squishy middle and if you push in to feel your rib cage then you can usually go down again.** I have learned with measuring many a gorgeous figure that the higher we go in inches the more squish we have so the smaller we need to go with our cinch. here's some examples:EG: If you are 40 inch then but squishy sides and usual hour glass figure I would go 36 inch if you are usually 30 inch with rectangle shape and fairly firm side then I'd order 28 inch and so on.NB: If you are in between sizes e.g.: you measure 29 (just) I would go down to 26.
How to wear: It's the first thing I put on then I put on my slip then my frock.. Contrary to what you may think, they are lightweight, breathable and cool. Wearing a slip over the cinch yet under the frock is also the best way to avoid seeing lines and it the best way to avoid clinging of your frocks, especially modern day frocks where the materials are not as good as the original. A slip is aptly named for the job it does!

We investigate the new celebrity exercise craze
BY ZOE DICKENS 3 NOVEMBER 2014 – Harpers Bazaar – https://harpersbazaar.co.uk/beauty/fitness-wellbeing/what-is-waist-training-kim-kardashian-exercise-workout
With stars such as Kim Kardashian raving about its effects on Instagram, waist training – a workout done while wearing a tightly laced corset – is about to become the next big exercise trend. But what is it and how does it work? We caught up with personal trainer and founder of Twenty Two Training Dalton Wong to get some answers.
What is the basic idea behind waist training?
The aim of waist training is to try and make the area between the hips and the ribcage smaller by working the front and lower abdominals and obliques. The idea is to strengthen these muscles to create a flatter tummy and more defined waist.
What benefits does wearing the corset provide?
There are two types of corset: the first is to aid strength and is often worn post-pregnancy or by people who have back problems. The second is used during workouts to increase body temperature, causing you to sweat more and feel like you are burning extra fat. The corset used by Kim Kardashian is a mixture of the two; it aids her workout at the same time as improving her core stability by providing extra support.

What sort of body shape can you hope to achieve with waist training?
The idea of waist training is to produce a classic hourglass shape. Obviously you can’t change the size of your hips but with proper training you can remove love handles and extra layers of fat around your waist to create a covetable curvy shape.
What exercises will produce the best results?
Abdominal exercises are obviously going to help produce a more defined waist but it’s important to remember that this will only work if you shed residual body fat first. Metabolic training and high-intensity fat-burning exercises should always be used in conjunction with area specific training.
Dalton’s top waist training tips:
– The best training doesn’t always start in the gym. You will never achieve a lean, sculpted body if you are eating junk food so the first step should always be to improve your diet and make sure you are eating plenty of nutrient rich foods.
– If you are overweight or unfit you should take some high intensity cardio classes before beginning waist training. It is key to remove as much excess body fat as possible, otherwise you are simply strengthening muscles that are hidden beneath layers of fat.
– On the other hand, if you regularly go to gym and are generally healthy and athletic but are still failing to see results it could mean you need to take a break. People who work out regularly often find that their bodies enter a state of stress, resulting in the over-production of cortisone that in turn allows a layer of fat to build up around the waist. Take a yoga class, get a massage and allow your body to rest and restore its chemical balance to see some real results from your training.
