🎉 Exciting News! Lindy Charm School is hitting the road once again, and this time, they’re bringing their dapper SwingABilly Ray Husband with them! Get ready for a weekend of vintage charm and timeless style at Chromefest in The Entrance, New South Wales.
🌟 **Friday Night Vintage Styling Workshop**
On Friday, October 27th, from 6 pm to 9 pm, Miss Chrissy will be hosting a Vintage Styling Workshop. This is your chance to learn the secrets behind achieving those iconic hair and makeup looks from the 1940s and 1950s. Hurry, though, because there are only 10 spots available for this exclusive workshop, and it’s priced at $120 per person. To secure your spot, be sure to book in advance!
🎶 **Saturday and Sunday Pop-Up Styling Booth**
On Saturday, October 28th, and Sunday, October 29th, Miss Chrissy will be all set up with her pop-up styling booth. Whether you’re into retro, pinup, rockabilly, or vintage styles, she’s got you covered. For just $50 per person, you can get that authentic vintage hair and makeup look you’ve always dreamed of from 10 am to 4 pm.
🎵 **Groovy Tunes and Dance Floors**
While you’re enjoying your transformation at the styling booth, the most entertaining DJ will be spinning the tunes and ensuring that the dance floors are alive with rhythm and fun. Get ready to dance the day away!

Welcome to “Area Era”… step aboard the Tardis with us and get set to embark on a dazzling journey through the last 100 years of fashion, music and culture, decade by decade. It will literally be the party of the century!

The Lindy Charm School, this will be a day/night of pure unadulterated elegance, extravagance, dance and theatre, spanning from the Roaring 20s to the cutting edge Y2K era and finishing on todays trendsetting doorstep!
What to expect:
A 100 Years of music, dance, fashion, culture delivered to you through the best artists.. Be entertained and immerse yourself into that snapshot of the night before you move on to the next era OR stay comfortably where you are and continue to be thoroughly entertained in the era you love!
- Yes you will arrive on the red carpet for your pictures darling!
- Yes there will be a cloak room to house any costume changes you may have!
- Yes there will be prizes for best dressed through each era!

IN STUDIO 1 – From 2pm we will be starting at the roaring 20’s.. Who doesn’t love an afternoon cocktail and seriously, what time is it anyway! You will be will be transported into a time travel capsule with DJ’s Swingabilly Ray (QLD) Mr Doo Wop (The Malt Shop Hop, PBS), Emma Peel (Switched On, PBS), Brontesaurus Sex (RRR), DJ Viva L’amour, (Mel) Mz Rizk (Boogie Beat Suite, PBS), DJ Bella Donna (Mel) with special guest Celia Bow & many more guest artists to be announced soon! Plus there will guest performers to delight you at every stage door!
ALL ABOARD! Next stop: The Gatsby Tram – Our original 1950s Melbourne Tram will be transformed into a special Speakeasy for the night, with shows by the original Flux Vintage Machine himself, a Grammaphone DJ like no other will dazzle you waxing lyric on His Masters Voice original Grammaphones! A sound like no other. But wait! Melbourne Jazz quartet royalty will be there too: Andrew Noltes Golden Gate Quartet as well as the most entertaining time travellers “Will & Kate” who will take you on a journey of their own! As if there wasn’t enough to delight and tantalise the senses already we will also have a host of sultry burlesque that will transport you to another place.
Let’s not forget about the FOOD & BOOZE! With a funky bar starring drinks from the eras, photos booths, food trucks & a whole lotta fun, come tickle your vintage tastebuds with us all day & night and celebrate the joy and history of our human expression together.
**This is a wheelchair accessible event! Let us know if you have any access needs!
Want to be involved? We are looking for some additional artists with expression to perform through the eras, or just be dressed to kill in a certain era and want to host a spot.. YOU!! . add the flavour. I know there are many dancers, pin up gals, vintage enthusiasts that know how to pull off an exact era and thats who we are looking for.. Want to be a part of this amazing night and work with this dynamic team?

Free Prosecco flows and stylists on hand to help you find that special outfit!
