Your ability to give a little bit of yourself in your work sets you apart

Hi Chrissy,

I just wanted to say a big thankyou for your time and efforts on Saturday doing the hair and makeup workshop with Felicity. She loved the session, and Bec (her mum) and I are thrilled that you were also able to impart some truly valuable advice on what it means to be a lady and really “put your best foot forward”.

We were all delighted with the results that we could see – obviously you made our girl *gorgeous* (and her dad’s friends made a few jokes about needing to ward off potential boyfriends, hehe!) – but the sincere and time-honoured advice from someone who has lived life, about finding a balance between what’s on the surface and what we build up inside ourselves, was authentic and wonderful, and will hopefully mean that the glow you have given Flic lasts much longer than just a Saturday afternoon.

As Flic grows into her own identity as a woman, and develops the confidence to stay in possession of herself through life’s ups and downs, I am certain she will treasure the memory of your workshop and advice on her 15th birthday. Hopefully you might see more of her at swing dancing some time soon, but either way, thankyou for being such a generous and graceful role model. Your ability to give a little bit of yourself in your work sets you apart, and I’m sure you will continue to make a positive impact on all the lucky young girls you are able to work with. 🙂

Hello Miss Chrissy

I just wanted to say thankyou from the bottom of our hearts we are still chatting, laughing and revisiting or fabulous day with you. Here is my testimonial for you….

From the moment I started my car on the way to the airport to pick up our hosts for the day, Miss Chrissy and Miss Brooke who had flown in for the day of make overs and high tea I was beyond excited.

On arrival at the airport they were both patiently waiting dressed and quaffed looking totally amazing.

Our day had begun introductions done the girly chatter started and didn’t stop all day.

Make overs for four bridesmaids and Vanessa our bride started on our arrival home ( after the surprise was revealed) cheers and a few whoop whoops the fun started.

Wow what a transformation the girls came out of makeup to a photo shoot with Brooke everyone looked stunning.

Our high tea started and Miss Chrissy delighted us with the short history of High tea etiquette. Lots of fun and plenty of chatter the whole afternoon just flew by.

Thanks to miss Chrissy an amazing inspiring woman. Your beauty shines from your heart and made us all feel confident and beautiful in our vintage 1950, s look. As I said we had royalty in our house for a day.

Best Friends: A Thelma and Louise Moment, with Brooke Orchard and The Lindy Charm School

Hello Chrissy

Just a quick email to let you and Brooke know what a fabulous day Janet and I had with you on Thursday. It was like a small trip to Lindy Charm paradise where the only thing we had to think about was looking pretty. I keep having flashbacks to how much fun it was and how genuine and lovely both you and Brooke are. You made us feel so comfortable. You are both very experienced with what you do, and it shows!

When we got home my husband came down to the kitchen to see both of us sitting there and rushed to get the camera to record the image for posterity. The table was set, there was food for him and two gorgeous women! I am sure he thought all his christmases had come at once!

Thank you again and look forward to our next Lindy Charm experience!

I had the time of my life today with Chrissy, Foxy and some great women.
This experience has lifted my spirit and taught me some very important principles about self-love, care and respect. Simple and stunning tricks can be learnt to replace or add to your daily routine or more challenging hairstyles can be attempted. The atmosphere was warm and fun.
I would be very disappointed if Chrissy and her team didn’t return to Brisbane.

My self-confidence is blossoming as a result…and I am able to work with tools and accessories to express myself outwardly the way I choose. Priceless and passionate teaching and loads of laughter.

A Lindy Charm School Workshop is for YOU!

Let’s talk about why her workshops are for you, when you DON’T do vintage. With Chrissy’s depth of knowledge that comes from decades of beauty, comes a wisdom of what products are supposed to do, and what actually does the job. With this knowledge you can cut through a lot of the noise in advertising modern day lotions and potions and stop wasting time and money on things that will never work. For me personally, past investments in ‘miraculous’ modern products only ended up delivering disappointment, and fed my despondency in bothering with a beauty routine. I had started to find the light before I met Chrissy, and doing her workshop has fast-tracked this process. I am loving living with a touch of glamour every day and look forward to getting proficient with pin curls and gorgeous hairstyles.
