Seduction meaning to ‘tempt or attract’ is far from being a passive way of behaving, seduction empowers women by using what you’ve got to get what you want. No matter what size or shape you are, you can be a seductress:” Marilyn Monroe was a voluptuous size sixteen, while Scarlett O’Hara had an eighteen-inch waist (after giving birth!) and both new exactly how to tempt a man. Whether you’re svelte or curvaceous, you have that all important ingredient:” your feminine wiles. What hope does a poor man have against those?
A seductress oozes confidence. She loves herself and in doing so, makes other people love her. That doesn’t mean she’s arrogant: indeed, one of her skills is listening to other people. But she knows why she’s fantastic and doesn’t let anyone convince her otherwise.
“I think the quality of sexiness comes from within. It doesn’t really have much to do with breasts or thighs
or the pout of your lips.” – Sophia Loren
Although dressing to accentuate your best features, red lips and that extra effort you put into your do – can’t hurt ladies!
Is it an art a science or a lifestyle?

Tomorrow we will bring you Part 2…
Hi Chrissie, this is a great series, and I totally agree about seduction being all about confidence and loving being in your body.
I just feel the need to clarify the thing about Marilyn’s size – there’s a lot of misinformation around about that. Her official measurements from her dressmaker were 35″-22″-35″ at 5 ft 5″. For anyone who sews, we know that’s a TINY waist in proportion to her bust and hips. But it’s not a modern (Australian) size 16. She’s more like a modern size 10 at the most, though she probably would’ve needed a bust adjustment in RTW clothes. What we can learn from MM is to love our shape, and work with it – not try to be a shape we are not. Remember that MM and Audrey Hepburn were making movies at the same time – and are both still remembered and adored for their own unique style.
Hoorah! Thanks so Much Lovely for sharing your wisdom and the great links attached. A super read and you are right so many misinformation and misconceptions about so much…xx
