Anita & Phil’s Wedding – Williamstown Victoria
Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your root was so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. that is just being in love, which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two. Not often Brooke and I get to work a wedding together, but this was no ordinary wedding. Anita wanted her A Team on the job to capture her once in a lifetime fairytale day when she said “I Do” and Kissed her Prince. So, she flew Brooke from Adelaide and Me from Brisbane to spend her day with her and that we did! From the morning preparation to the ceremony and the party afterwards,.. in fact, .. her Stylist and Photographer were almost the last on the dance floor! Wish I had a picture of that!
Anita has been a Charm School Friend for many years, having 3 Vintage Makeover Photoshoots with Brooke and I plus she has bought countless number of my Mums, but aside from all that, she is one of my inspirations, having fought her own cancer battles. Anita is pure Grace under Fire, Poised with a Purpose and Brooke and I were honored to be a special part of her day. Here are some pictures for your purveying pleasure…
