It is designed to give a comprehensive solution for safer social networking.  We first  raise awareness regarding the risks that can be involved with social networking through information sessions and then follow up with hands on workshops to assist with setting effective security on clients social media accounts and providing options to encourage adopting protective behaviours whilst enjoying the vast range of benefits of social networking.
  1. The Art of Good Grooming: Personal grooming is about presenting yourself in the best possible way. It tells people what you think of yourself. Let us show you how to allow your appearance to act as a platform to showcase your inherent skill set.
  1. The Art of Charm, Deportment, Poise & Posture: We lose the art of being graceful in our modern day of convenience and time management  In our journey of refinement, we should place value on learning how to be graceful. It is important to learn how to move with beauty, style and grace.:This is a 2 part approach:

1st Part:  Charm:  Fun and practical ways we can confidently relate to people in our larger social groups. Using manners, understanding etiquette and unlocking our natural charm may seem antiquated to young people today but in fact they are essential tools to navigate the new and larger world that opens up at the end of schooling. The Lindy Charm School for Girls has been empowering women for decades with skills that build confidence both inside and out. This workshop develops techniques that can be used for job interviews, work place relations and social interactions in order for young women to confidently meet their goals.   If Charm is the art of having an attractive personality we can take practical steps to practice this art.  Some people charm others the moment they enter a room, while others earn a reputation as a charmer over a period of time. Whist everyone is born with differing amounts of natural charm, much can be acquired and honed through practice.  This is an art that will put girls of ages in good stead for socials interactions across many aspects of their life.

2nd Part:  Deportment, Poise & Posture:  Practical ways how we can effectively present ourselves and our ideas with confidence and grace. The Lindy Charm School for Girls are masters of teaching methods for grace under fire.  Having a strong physical presence and an inner calm are great tools in life be it in our careers or in our personal relationships.
We think of posture generally in terms of the way we sit or stand but there are many forms of posture ie: it maybe in your attitude for instance..  Whether it be for body or mind, your posture is really important especially when in comes to how people see you…This workshops includes fun and interactive components that incorporate the art of selfies cat walk modelling,  swagger vs strut.  Confidence boosting and educational all at once.

  1. The Importance of Undergarments: Let us take a look at the journey our breasts and booties have taken through the centuries.
  2. The art of Hair & Makeup to suit you: Fancy a Little Old World Glamour.. Get ready for your Close Up with us.  Hair Styles to suit your face, timeless and glamourous makeup techniques taught in this workshop.
  1. Go Green, Go Vintage, Home Remedies: Save Money, be on trend and save the environment by using home remedies that our foremothers devised out of necessity. Practical Recipes to take home: Everything from facial cleansers to stain removers all from Mum’s kitchen cupboard…
  1. Make Do and Mend – the Art of Being Frugal: Contemporary consumer societies have developed a ‘disposable’ mentality in a ‘throwaway’ culture, and now discard items that, once, would have been reused, recycled or held in stewardship by our ancestral forebears.
  1. The Art of Nipping and Tucking – Your home couture – Quick Style tips.  Make a $10 Kmart outfit look like a $110 designer outfit by couturing to your body and creating classic fit for classic curves and then embellish to scream your personality style as your own.
  1. Voice and the Art of Speaking: Shakespeare used at least 30,000 words in his cannon, today we have an average vocabulary of around 2,000. Using clarity of speech and clear intentions goes a long way to getting what you want out of life.
  2. V is for Victory, road to empowerment, pounding the pavement is good for your thighs! There is much we can learn from our fore-mothers who trail blazed for the freedoms and independence we enjoy today and with the beauty of hindsight, The Lindy Charm School preserves and imparts only the best of the past to enhance our present.Extended summary

Today we as women, particularly in the West, enjoy many rights that were hard won by our fore mothers.  It is not enough to simply know the historical events that awarded us the right to vote but to also understand the female species through evolution.  What is it to be a woman? What are our biological strengths and our sociological weaknesses and how will you as young women continue to develop the empowerment of your sex both personally and for the good of all mankind.

This workshop will give a concise snap shot of women starting from when the first humans appeared in Africa 200 thousand years ago to the Kardashian selfies of the present. We will work together to understand how we as individuals fit into this picture and how we might develop our sense of self without the need for a selfie stick.

    The workshop will cover:

The evolution of the human species

The major sociological events that influenced women

    The Suffragettes

Finding clarity in the confusing online world

    Fostering unique empowerment

Sharing responsibility for the women of the future

    Enjoying a sense of frivolity

The workshop, although informative, will endeavour to be fun with activities that are joyously creative.

We have great friendships, we are creative, nurturing, fun and strong.

“I wouldn’t be satisfied with a life lived solely on the barricades.  I reserve my right to be frivolous”  Betty Friedan the mother of modern American Feminism

From the Suffragettes to now the way is paved with boots and stilettos that allows us to be as powerful as we are feminine.  We don’t need to limit ourselves to being one or the other, we can have it all.

When young ladies leave school and step into their future careers, connections and social groups we will need to think about ways to ensure our outer self reflects our inner confidence and beauty. We need to put our best foot forwards in order to reach our goals.

** We have two workshops designed to nurture the confidence and burgeoning power of young ladies:

Workshop 1:  Manners, Etiquette and the art of being Charming

This workshop focuses, in fun and practical ways, on the way we can confidently relate to people in our larger social groups.
Workshop 2.  Posture, Poise and the Importance of Grooming.

This workshop focuses, in fun and practical ways, on how we can effectively present ourselves and our ideas with confidence and grace. The Lindy Charm School for Girls are masters of teaching methods for grace under fire.  Having a strong physical presence and an inner calm are great tools in life be it in our careers or in our personal relationships.  This workshop also teaches young women the essentials of good grooming, which is somewhat of a lost art these days. At the end of this workshop participants will walk with their well groomed head held high ready to meet the world head on.
We think of posture generally in terms of the way we sit or stand but there are many forms of posture ie: it maybe in your attitude for instance..  Whether it be for body or mind, your posture is really important especially when in comes to how people see you…This workshops includes fun and interactive components that incorporate the art of selfies cat walk modelling,  swagger vs strut and group work in creating a runways fashion show that will dispel any shyness dwelling within the participants.  Confidence boosting and educational all at once.
