I have attended several Adelaide events with Miss Chrissy. She is unfailingly cheerful, beautiful, and encouraging. We live in a society where the desire to be beautiful equals looking a certain way deemed appropriate by the external culture. This comparison inevitably leads to a feeling of lowered self-worth if you fail to measure up. Miss Chrissy, although running make-overs, manages to buck this trend. She speaks with love and passion about real women who, with a minimum of fuss, “make do and mend” and in the process shine with true beauty. Her lessons go far beyond make-up and hair styling tips and I think that we could all do with a little of her passion and style.
