Recently, It was our pleasure to be asked to style and photograph the Marketing and Sales Management Team of the QT Gold Coast for their Retro Christmas Card. Brooke Orchard and I checked in to the hotel and enjoyed a night of splendor and pamper before the next days big shoot.
The QT really know how to offer great service and attention to detail is always so excellent. Dinner at Bazaar and Lemon Iced Tea in your room upon arrival and lets not forget the Welcome Note all made from chocolate that you can indeed eat once the message has been read (Very James Bond!).. Our room had views to die for and there is something so very special about leaving the doors open on the 22nd floor and listening to the surfers paradise ocean waves crashing in all night then waking up with the sight of whales in the clear blue yonder.. Any closer to heaven and you would be an angel I think!…
In the morning: One by one the girls arrived for Hair and Makeup and then, using all props and clothes from our own personal wardrobes, (even the Christmas Tree was mine) , we styled them all to suit the visual aesthetic we were aiming for. Once the styling was complete, the masterful eye and talents of Brooke Orchard took over and a day of fun continued. We were definitely causing a spectacle among the tourists and guests, and the Management team were darting in and out of meetings in between… but by days end, we had so many great pictures to choose from. The QT Management Team could not only choose 1 so in the end they went for 3 different christmas cards!!
