It’s been a few years since I first saw the Vintage Hair and Makeup Styling Workshops that Lindy Charm School were running. Since then I have followed every YouTube victory roll video and Instagram retro makeup tutorial there is… and yet still hadn’t nailed a true hot set or winged eyeliner. This workshop opened my eyes (literally with that mascara!) and helped me realise where I was going wrong and how to get a more authentic vintage look with both bangs and lippy.
Learning about the different lipstick shapes, the correct palette for my skin tone, and how to work with my natural eye brow shape were makeup highlights. My hair has more resistance than a 1940s Allies revolt, but Chrissy and the team were able to help me create both suicide rolls AND a poodle hair do – never before achieved on my thick, unruly mop!
Would highly recommend this as a pampering day out, suitable for any age really.
