“I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not the devil. I am just a small girl in a big world trying to find someone to love.” – Marilyn Monroe

Vaseline as a basecoat all over face? – Her thoughts were: Moisture = Youth? – This would have sweated and melted and it would have been necessary to be continually touching up but that is the flawless world she lived in and her makeup artist was indeed her best friend.

Lets start – I suggest:

  1. The Essential LCS Blotting Powder as your primer – all over face to soak up extra moisture.
  2. Apply the LCS  L2, L5 or L6 Flawless Foundation – 1st coat applied and blended with our Skunk Brush, then move to eyes before applying 2nd and final coat of flawless foundation blended with Skunk Brush then blot to set.
  3. To create soft shadow in the crease on Marilyn’s eyes, her lids were coated with a creamy white eyeshadow first, all over the lid up to the brow bone and then, soft smoky brown (or soft silvery blue) shadow was applied to the outer crease. This gave her eyes very elegant and effortless depth.
  4. The LCS Essential Brown Eyebrow Pencil used to create strong and heavier arch to create shape to the face Plus Brown pencil underneath lower lashes going down at end then fill in corner with white pencil… White pencil inner rim of the eye to lift.  You can also use this same pencil to create a beauty spot to complete the look – Remember the golden rule though.. Over 40 above the nose, under 40 wherever.  Enhance a spot you might already have though instead of creating another.
  5. The LCS Define Eyeliner, mascara and then add a ½ set of false lashes, reapply our essential liquid eyeliner to set, define.
  6. Red dot inner eye (Brings out the white of your eyes)
  7. Apply The LCS Essential Beguiling Blush to apples of cheeks as well as temples and above eyebrow and nose   NB:   Whitey (makeup artist of Marilyn Monroe) used blush to shorten and shape Marilyn’s nose, as well as to enhance her cheekbones. He would dab a little bit of blush on the tip of her nose and then go on top of it with vaseline and powder to achieve the right soft focus texture and to make her nose look shorter
  8. The LCS Essential Perfect Pout Lipliner and Lipstick Set  = Dark red lip liner, encase then apply dark red lipstick outer edge then layer lighter shades of red to inner part of lips – (this gave the illusion of fuller poutier lips)
  9. Gloss (Only a dab at center of bottom lip and then smack your lips together)
  10. NB:Shading jawline and under cheek and sides of nose to slim the face (Overkill for the normal everyday makeup but if you have the time and know how it really does change your face shape)

Gift Wrapped and includes a complimentary Makeup Bag….Valued at $190 – Yours for $160 – Only available by email to those readers who have received this email…. Email me:  [email protected].  Foundation Choice of L2 (Very Fair, L5 Warm Tones Medium or L6 Peach Tones – Fair)
