You Don’t need to know how to dance, join in the mass class on a quick 101 on basic Charleston and away you go…FRIDAY DANCING FUN FOR EVERYONE…
On Friday from 5pm at the opening of the Love Vintage show, we are having a bit of Charleston fun, and we want you to be involved!
We will be filming a performance of the Charleston in front of the Hordern Pavilion for the ‘I Charleston Sydney’ You Tube series, which is being compiled by the Sydney Swing Katz.
This is a world-wide movement where people dance the Charleston in front of iconic buildings, structures and natural wonders and post the videos on You Tube.

We would love it if you could come and dance (we can make you a You Tube star!) and also use the attached flyer to publicise the event – on your website, facebook page, email to customers, etc.
We have already received interest from media coming along to film the event, so the more dancers (and non-dancers!) we have, the better. NB. This is a free event, at the entrance to the show – no ticket required.
FRIDAY NIGHT – WITH A 1920s VIBE
On Friday night we will have a guest DJ, Swing-A-Billy Ray ,delivering the smooth sound of the Jazz Age at the show. We will also have a special ‘Original 1920s’ category in the Best Dressed in Vintage Competition, with tickets to ‘The Great Gatsby’ to be won.
Feel free to dress to the theme and show off your Roaring ’20s finest!

I will be forwarding a list of exhibitors keen to participate to Bonnie Rose, who will visit your stand on Friday night to chat with you… this is a great opportunity to get your fashion on the catwalk!
