I was delighted when our good pal Shelley Minson, Tamworth’s very own Rockabilly Sweetheart, invited Ray and I to host a Saturday Night Dance, some Dance workshops as well as one of my Vintage Styling Workshops in Tamworth on 22/23 February.. We are happy to announce that venues and details sorted and we are looking forward to a weekend full of dancing & stylin fun… Who hasn’t been to Tamworth Yet? A magnificent town full of heritage and good people – 7 Hours drive from Brissy and surrounds.. Swing-A-Billy Ray and the Charm School Mistress are taking a ROAD TRIP!!! We get to dance, teach, style and DJ all in one weekend… Here are all the details:
Saturday 22 February:
2 x Lindy Hop/Swing Dance Workshops:
10.30am to 12 Noon – Beginners Lindy Hop – $25pp
1.00pm to 2.30pm – Intermediate Lindy Hop – $25pp
Vintage Styling Pop Up Salon offering Vintage Hairstyles for the Ladies for the Sat Night Dance
3pm to 6pm – $40pp
Sunday 23 Februrary:
10.30am to 1.30pm – 3 Hour Vintage Styling Workshop covering hair and makeup from 1940’s and 50’s with Miss Chrissy from The Lindy Charm School for Girls – $85 pp
