I am new to your site and am a bit confused. If we are celebrating the glamour and styles of the 40’s 50’s and 60’s what does pantyhose have to do with it. Although they are a convenient item they don’t begin to match the sexiness and femininty of garter and hose. Just my thought. Thank you for a wonderful site.
Peggysue
Hi Peggysue, Thank you for your comment. Although we agree that pantyhose does not match or replace the authenticity and indeed fabulous feel of the original stockings, the convenience does however appeal to a lot of ladies starting out in their Vintage journey or those that wear vintage or vintage inspired clothing every day. We used to sell stockings but sadly they were largely left unsold and more often we were asked for pantyhose… so although I wear them personally it makes better commercial sense not to sell them.
Thanks for popping by.
xx Chrissy
