Historically modelled after the bachelor party, which is itself historically a dinner given by the bridegroom to his friends shortly before his wedding. Despite its reputation as “a sodden farewell to bachelor days” or “an evening of debauchery,” a bachelorette’s party is simply a party, given in honor of the bride-to-be, in the style that is common to that social circle… So… How is your common circle looking to celebrate this most precious occasion? 

Why not invite The Lindy Charm School for Gals along to host your day and to add all the elements of Vintage Glamour that your friend deserves on her big day before the big day..

Our Hens party package includes Vintage hair & makeup for your group in whatever vintage style you choose – 20’s-60’s. We shall tailor the day to suit your guests and work the room accordingly assisting you with your chosen theme. In addition to making “The Bride” over in front of her girlfriends/Mothers, we will also share tips and tricks along the way on how best to create your own vintage style….a mini personal workshop if you like.. We will also offer a vintage “Do” to each of your guests so by the end of the day you will all ready to hit the town in glamorous style. You will be entertainment with some good old fashioned bachelorette party games and some tongue in cheek motherly advice from the 50’s thrown in. Your guests will each receive a flower and workshop manual/memento of the day as well. Maybe an Afternoon Tea and a Photographic Pin up shoot is more to your liking?, we can also certainly assist with this….

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the wedding day, our styling expertise is also at your disposal, designed specifically for you & can be as involved as you choose. We offer advice to you from everything from the best style & cut of dress to accessories, hair & makeup…. Hair & make up styling would be planned in advance so the big day is just fun! If you wish us to help please let us know where you will be celebrating, & how many of your party you would like us to style etc and then we can quote separately on this for you. 

Depending on your location we can also offer assistance with Vintage Cars, Wedding Cakes, Marriage Celebrants, Vintage Nails, Photographer, Videographer and Entertainment etc etc

      Here are some details on what we can offer by way of a Vintage Styling Party for you but remember, we can tailor anything to suits your needs. Maybe you might like to have a High Tea with a Sip of Manners as part of the day. The High Tea component is organised by yourself or the venue you choose and we add the Sip of Manners component to the workshop, we guide you through the art, ceremony and traditions of tea as well as the Etiquette, Manners, Deportment, Poise and Charm.. Or maybe you might like for instance a private Burlesque Class (Additional $120) Or maybe you would like to include a Pin Up Photoshoot option to the day The possibilities are endless but one thing is for sure if it is within the 30’s to the 60’s Vintage Styling Fun you are after then we can do this for you.

      Our Standard Party package includes Vintage Hair Styles completed on each guest & Makeup touch ups as required in whatever vintage style you choose – 1930’s-60’s. We shall work with you beforehand if you need in creating the perfect theme then on the day, as hostesses of the event it is our job to ensure everyone is having a good time and will keep the day moving along for you.

      In addition to completely making “The Bride” over in front of her girlfriends, we will also share tips and tricks along the way on how best to create your own vintage style….a mini personal workshop if you like. We will also complete a vintage “Do” on each of your guests so by the end of the day you will all be ready, primped and preened for that Cecil B DeMille Close Up in time to hit the town in glamorous style. You will be entertained with some good old fashioned history as well as we will transform your manners, posture, etiquette and style from Ladette to Lady with some tongue in cheek motherly advice from the 50’s thrown in. Your guests will each receive a flower and workshop manual/memento of the day as well. I will also (upon request) make up a suitable CD of ambient music for the day in the era chosen (FOC).

      At the closing of the day we will be on hand to assist with posing techniques and taking of pictures to capture the moment for you all.

      Our price for Hens Parties are:
      $65 per person for the first 15 ladies then after that, the bride is FREE and each other is $60 pp up to a maximum of 30. We require a 20% deposit upon booking & the balance on the day.

      The event runs for 3 hours.

      We attend your home or chosen venue.

      We supply all hair tools for all girls but only supply complete makeup for the Bride and only touch up for other guests.

      If the Bride is then interested in obtaining our services for the wedding day then here are our MUAH prices:

      Prices are: (MUAH = Makeup and Hair)

      $200 for Bride MUAH on the Day
      $150 for each Brides maid/and/or Mothers

      $200 MUAH for Bride Trial before if you wish for that.

    1. I have staff who reside in the Blue Mountains, Melbourne and Qld and we travel in to events we do not have a building as such or permanent presence in Sydney itself. 🙂
