Meet Lucy! One of our @swing_on_in dance students and new friend with a gorgeous smile, big heart, wicked sense of humour and single! Oh and yes she just graduated from Uni qualified as a dental prosthetist.
Ok, so she’s beautiful, smart, sexy and can do anything! But.. earlier this year Lucy lost all her hair virtually overnight and was confronted with baldness and no explanation!
The nature of Alopecia is just like that sometimes… Working retail in the public eye and studying at University while all this was happening was definitely a life strengthening exercise.
Lucy laughs now and says at least I had a good egg! There was nothing else to do but to accept it, embrace it and use it as one of life‘s lessons. I did not know Lucy then but I know her now and she illuminates .. she has such a grace and quiet strength that is beautiful to see!
Going on a drug trial that worked and her hair grew back quickly. We did a photo shoot last week and there are so many amazing photos of this lady which I had to share. Let’s celebrate Lucy, a symbol of the trials and tribulations we all feel at some point in this life and as women, we overcome!
